No, that's not a typo in our masthead. With the O'Gov touting the evils of the so-called "rich" (scarring them away), and his effort to "strengthen the middle-class" failing so miserably, he is creating a subservient, serf-like class encompassing more and more Marylanders. The class warfare he is promoting will leave basically no middle class at all, just the haves (his cronies) and the have-nots (the rest of us).
So if King Martin wants to treat us like the Peasants he thinks we are, who are we to disagree with his ultimate wisdom? If the legislature is not willing to stand up against him, and feels we are the great unwashed masses that have no right to a transparent, constitutionally-honest government where our views are not only heard, but acted on... oh, well.
At least every once in a while the grumblings from us in the peanut gallery can be heard, and they can be reluctantly forced to action. Jessica's Law was one example, and now maybe Real ID is another. Yeah for the little guys... we were thrown a bone!
